Recently, we announced that the free version of Strix Cloud would be transitioning to a paid plan. In this notice, we will provide information about the paid plan, trials, and academic use.

About the Type 0 Paid Plan
With the transition to a paid service, the new plan will be priced at 2,600 yen per month (excluding tax). The breakdown includes an instance usage fee of 1,600 yen, and a fixed monthly management fee of 1,000 yen.

Note: Customers who have only been using the free Type 0 instance and have not registered payment information will have their existing instances become unavailable after June 1st. If you wish to continue using your existing Type 0 instance, please register your payment information by May 31st.

About the Type 0 Trial Plan
Starting in June, Type 0 will become a paid service, but we will be offering a trial plan so that those interested in using Strix Cloud will be able to try out Strix Cloud’s features and usability for free.
The trial plan will allow users to use Type 0 instances for free for a certain period of time.
Users will be able to choose from a trial period of 3 months or 6 months.
Those using Strix Cloud for the first time may apply.
Students may use this plan for up to 1 year in order to work on their graduation projects.

About the Type 0 Academic Plan
If you wish to use Strix Cloud Type 0 for educational purposes such as for conducting lessons, we also offer a free academic plan.
This plan allows for educational personnel and students to use Strix Cloud by applying on a school-by-school basis.
