Information Page¶
On Information tab on Applications Dashboard, you can check various information that you need to communicate with servers in the application.
The upper part of the page shows information that is common to the entire application, and the lower part below the label Servers Address shows information specific to each of the clusters and their server instances.
Servers Address section shows the name of each cluster and the following items of each server as well as connection information for each of them.
Server name
Region
Whether it is a master server or a room server (or both)
Items shown on this page are:
Application ID |
An ID to identify an application that Strix Cloud assigns automatically. You need to share it with your game clients. |
API Key |
A key that an external server specifies when it uses WebAPI to accesses to a server in this application. You need to share it with your external server to use WebAPI. |
Connection information for a cluster |
Connection information to the right of a cluster name is the hostname of the master server of the client. It is same as Master hostname shown on Servers Page. You need to share it with your game clients. |
Connection information for a server |
Connection information to the right of a server name is the base URL of the URL that an external server uses when accessing to this server with WebAPI. You need to share it with your external server to use WebAPI. Note that the host name in a connection information URL is different from the host name of a server instance. |
Note
Each of Application ID and API Key on this page is like a password. Please be very careful not to expose them to external parties.
Also, the connection information for clusters and servers contains information to identify a particular cluster or a server. Hiding such information helps avoiding unauthorized accesses. Please refrain from exposing connection information, too.
On this page, a Copy to Clipboard icon appears before information that is to be shared with your game clients or external servers. Clicking on the icon copies the information to the clipboard, and you can paste it to an editor, for example.
